First, as you enter and look diagonally to the right this is the view. Behind that old tv stand is a cute fireplace, but the plum walls just don't make the green tile work. The plum walls are going to go, eventually.
I love the wood so much. It needs SO much love, but once it gets done it will be gorgeous. See the little window seat at the top of the landing. A nice cushion and there'll be the cutest reading nook ever. And it is on the north side of the house so you don't bake in the mid-day sun. To the left of the fireplace is a small, L-shaped hallway that opens out to the dining room on the other side.
If you stand in the middle of the entryway and turn to your left, this is what you see:
Don't you just love those original columns as you enter the living room?! Once it gets all dolled up, I think that the living room may end up being my favorite room. Although I love my bedroom too.
